Job Title : SAS Developer with Heavy UNIX
Location : Bloomfield, CT
Duration : 6+ months
 
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide capacity and expertise to support minor enhancements and adhoc requests
Manage the Service Request (SR) intake, triage, and prioritization with client oversight
Solid analytical skill with interest in learning business processes in a multi-platform system
Adept in SAS Base and Macro programming with DB2 database
Familiar with Unix scripting
Good problem solving skill applied to debugging process flows and program error logs
Able to work with business clients to understand and analyze business requirements
Experience with on-call support in a production environment
Good communication skills

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
5+ years’ experience with SAS
5+ years’ experience with Unix
5+ years’ experience with DB2
5+ years’ experience with SOME of the following:
JCL
SQL
FOCUS
BMC Utility
