New Delhi, Sep 20 (PTI) Electric vehicle charging infrastructure startup eVolt India on Tuesday said it has tied up with Indian Oil Corporation for the installation of over 75 charging stations in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

As part of the awarded contract, the Delhi-based charging solutions provider will set up 3.3kW AC and 7.4kW AC charging stations for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers at the existing Indian Oil fuelling pumps in these key territories. Read more...

In 2015, the government of India had set the target of achieving 100 gigawatt (GW) of gridconnected solar installation by 2022. Now, with less than four months to the deadline of the solar target, India stares at an installation gap of ~39 GW, according to JMC Research.The 100 GW target comprises of 40 GW for grid-connected rooftop and 60 GW for gridconnected utility-scale projects.
