Silt Content

Dear SoilGrids Community,

My understanding of the numbers attached with clay, silt and sand is the minimum and maximum content (percent).

When ever I clip the raster layer/soil grid layer of silt, the maximum silt content increases in the clipped raster. is this possible? or is it an error? 

For example silt content was 23 to 51 for a 250m geotiff covering KP Pakistan, when I clipped it for Peshawar the silt content was 30 to 54. Now 30 is understandable but 54 is not.

Also I have tried to clip it multiple times same thing happens. It does not happen with clay or sand content.

Kindly clear this to me.
