Using the SoilGrids ReST service

Dear all,
recently I have been questioned frequently on how to access the SoilGrids predictions from a computer programme. There is a ReST service for SoilGrids that is quite convenient. I have thus created a small page with simple examples on how to use the service in R, Julia and Python:
