Dear Tomislav,

I found SolidGrids really interesting. I found the available soil water capacity data for the different pedotransfer functions in the ftp directory, also I reviewed the "AWCPTF.R" R script. Please, I want to know if the raster AWCh1, AWCh2 and AWCh3 data is the available soil water at field capacity (in cubic-meter per cubic-meter) based on each Pedo-Transfer Functions or is the available soil water capacity (FC-PWP) in cubic-meter per cubic-meter based on Pedo-Transfer Function.

Thank you so much.

Dear Gibelli, the AWC data are about plant-Available Water holding Capacity indeed (thus the water content retained at FC minus that at PWP). H1, h2 and h3 stand for 3 different definitions of FC at pF 2.0, 2.3 and 2.5, respectively. To asses water content at FC, you sum AWC and PWP (FC-PWP+PWP).

Cheers, Johan
