'Alhamduli'Allahi Rabbil-`Aalameen
 wa-Salaatu wa-Salaamu `alaa Ashrafil-Anbiyaa-e-wal- ~ `Amma  Baa`d'

'Assalaamu `Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi  wa Barakaatuhu'.
 
`A`ishah (Radhiallahu `Anha) said that she asked 

   Allah's Messenger 
(Sallallahu `Alayhi wa Sallam)

  'O Messenger of Allah,  If I knew which night is 
  'Laylat Ul- Qadr' 
 what should I say during it' ? 

   And he (Sallallahu `Alayhi wa Sallam) 
  instructed her to say --- 

 اللْهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي   
 
'Allahumma Innaka `AfuwwunTuhibbul `Afwa fa`fu `Annee'.  

 Translation   of the 'Dua' --- 
 
'O Allah , You are Forgiving, 
 and you love Forgiveness, so forgive me.

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said,
“When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding
 of the Deen.” [Bukhari]

 He whom death overtakes while he is engaged in acquiring knowledge with a view to reviving Islam with the help of it, there will be one degree between him and the Prophets in Paradise.’

[Sources: For "HADITH"-Tafseer ibn Kathir mentioned “At-Tirmidhi no.3513, An-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah no.3850 have all recorded this Hadith. At-Tirmidhi said, “This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.”
 Al-Hakim recorded it in his Mustadrak 
 (with a different chain of narration) as authentic according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim. 
An-Nasa’i also recorded it and Albani authenticated it in Saheeh al-Jaami’ no.4423.]
