CAST: Conference of the Association for Software Testing
San Jose, California, July 16 & 17, 2012

CAST is a non-profit conference, organized for the members of AST to meet, share ideas and enlighten each other in aspects of testing and software in general.  Presentations are unique in that 1/3 of the scheduled time is required to be a facilitated Question/Answer period where participants are some of the brightest minds in the business (this can be, intimidating for some.) 

 

Emerging Topics is a "conference within a conference" aimed at giving brief introductions to ideas or concepts that the presenter believes may be of interest to the attendees.  These are 20 minute slots with at least 5 minutes reserved for Question/Answers.  The Emerging Topics track is being streamed live this year from San Jose, Monday and Tuesday, July 16 & 17. 

 

The Introduction and Welcome is at 8:30 AM PDT (11:30 AM EDT) with the first of the presentations to be WebCast starting at 9:10 AM PDT (12:10 PM EDT).

The keynote from Tripp Babbitt has been posted, it is interesting and worth consideration.  Elisabeth Hendrickson's keynote (as of this writing) is going to be posted soon.  It too, is interesting and worth consideration.
