What do you all think we should do with the format?  What should we add?  What was helpful in our first meeting?  What should we stop doing?  All feedback is welcome

Gerry's post is an outstanding post.  We want your feedback.  The only addition I have to Gerry's questions is did you learn anything new in the meeting?

I thought the QA All Hands meeting was great. From a few folks (Me included) i've spoken with they really appreciated the last Slide Set where we highlighted individuals for their achievements.

I learned something new from Tony's automation update on the "video tutorials" which is a fantastic idea. I already recieved 1 request to be able to view those from Tom Cina which Tony has sent off.

Suggestions/Additions:
- Can we do some kind of on-site rotation with Steve and "Directs" being in a specific location at each QA "All Hands" and then have a site specific Q&A afterwards?

- Is it possible to ask for Questions prior to the meeting on Specific Topics (We can keep the folks anaonymous if they choose) that we reserve to address at the Q&A section?

I very much enjoyed hearing from people in different groups and different locations.   It's always helpful to get different perspectives.

I think another great topic would be covering the two ADLD meetings held to date -- some groups may have already had exposure but the topic offers lots of good discussion points:   Accountability, Conviction, Courageous Leadership, Trust . . .

 The QA AHM was great.

From the team's perspective, they would like to hear topics ranging from Performance testing/Security related to best practices across projects.

From my side, I would like to recommend, a similar sort of introduction that happens in Tony's AD manager meet, where an individual just talks about themselves, just to understand people better

It was good to get in touch with other people in the QA organization, this kind of activities help building the sense of one big QA team.
It was particularly intersting to hear about the Agile projects presented by Aravind.

If I would recommend something for the next meetings it would be to focus on fewer topics so that we can discuss more about them, have more time for interaction.

I agree with Nadia,  maybe fewer topics to allow people more time.  It felt a bit rushed at times.

I liked the idea of having different people speak, however, my original suggestion not to have slides I don't think was a good idea after all.  I would recommend if we continue this, each speaker should have slides (at least one).

In case anyone is "feeding" on this discussion, or stumbles across it again - it's been quite some time since we've had our first QA All Hands meeting - we will be starting to organize discussion topics for our next meeting real soon, so please feel free to share your ideas/suggestions here, or with your manager.

We're really looking forward to everyone's feedback.  Thank you!

Is it possible to put some time aside in the meeting for the following:

What exactly is QA's involvement in HLE vs. IA?  I understand Demand Management and the tools we have to regulate Customer/Service requests, but everyone seems unclear as to when the QA Lead becomes involved and what that person is accountable for in what situation (i.e., TVD, MTR).

fyi - my questions regarding the Demand Management QA roles have also been posted to the AD Front Door Community for those interested.

One of the Objectives for Senior QA Engineers is being able to address User Experience Design issues as we design our test efforts.

Under Learning and Development:   Well-versed in UCD (User Centric Design) & HFE (Human Factors Engineering) and applies this understanding to verify and improve product usability.

I have invited L Hood to one of my team meetings in September and will be recording the session to make it available for other QA teams.   We will be looking to discuss User Experience best practices and what we should all be looking for in UI design and validation.

I would love to see us include a presentation on this information in our meeting -- either by inviting someone from UXD or by having someone from QA who attended the UXD session provide that representation.
