Job Description:
Candidates must be US Citizens as this project is government related.
Enterprise Web portal QA Team of 5-8
Top responsibilities for this position:
a. Test case planning, development and execution
(manual)
b. Attend requirement reviews, project status calls,
work with release manager and PM.
c. Conduct & attend defect calls, defect
triage.
d. Support UAT testing
e. Report execution and defect status to QA lead
,PM.
f. Ability to work independently.
What
software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily
responsibilities:
· 7 plus years of Quality assurance and testing experience along with demonstrated work experience working in Agile and waterfall SDLC, HP Quality center/ALM tool, expert in relational database query, web portal testing, mobile testing, basic excel programming, intermediate UNIX shell scripting and editors, strong written and verbal communication is desired.
What skills/attributes are a must have:
· Software QA best practices, expert in RDBMS query( Oracle, mainframe) , unix utility, expert in soap/ui request and response capture, Quality center/ALM tool. Hands on experience in Waterfall/Agile SDLC. Excellent verbal and written communication.
What skills/attributes
are nice to have:
· Prior lead or independent contributor experience is desired.
· Pior experience in IT QA health care insurance including TRICARE.
· QTP automation .Mid- level experience in 508 compliance tools like JAWS, AMP
