Google Hangout into Saturday's Minneapolis Fixit Clinic?

Hi Global Fixers:

We're experimenting with Google Hangout to see if we can't use it to have mentors or coaches worldwide participate remotely at events.

Are you or someone you know interested in using Google Hangout to remotely participate in the Fixit Clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Saturday (UTC/GMT -5 hour)? http://www.hennepin.us/residents/recycling-hazardous-waste/fix-it-clinics

If yes: email me (pete...@gmail.com) and Nancy Lo <nan...@gmail.com> and we'll try to figure out how to send you an invitation to the Hangout.  You have to have a google account to participate, I think.

Hangouts are limited to ten participants but given that there are only 8 people on this email list so far that should be OK.  If this is successful eventually we'll have to switch over to Google "Hangouts on Air" which are more of a broadcast-style mechanism (but allow for an accompanying chat window at least)
