At Virtual Fixit Clinic 553 2020-05-17 Boulder Colorado US we saw Rosalie from Belgium's Logitech A-00064 Computer Headset

Bruxelles Belgium: Headset Logitech A-00064 Suddenly, during a call, the speaker started making noise and than stopped working.  So probably it's a bad contact. The audio is still working fine. I only checked to be sure that it's not a 'software ' issue: I checked if the speaker settings on my computer were ok, if my browser / video call system had access to the microphone, tried to use it in different types of video calls (but it didn't).

Fixit Coach Jim from Boulder Colorado was in Rosalie's breakout room and reports:

Not really, she did not have tools to take it apart, and we just asked
her to run a couple of tests which pinpointed a loose or broken
connection inside the headset.  We weren't all in agreement about that
either.  She said she had a friend with a multimeter and screwdrivers
(she didn't have those either) and a soldering iron who would take what
we suggested and see if he could find the fault.
