I had an old chair whose rungs had come out and I couldn't get them back together.  With the help of the trusty fixit guys, I applied a ratchet strap around the legs which is now acting as a bandaid until I make the time to screw in a #4 wood screw to the leg and rung to hold it together.  I trust it will work but won't finish it until Maine's busy season is over and winter is upon us.  Ah, Fixit projects and winter go together much better that summer when it is time to relish every moment in the out of doors!
