Meagan From CAN-ON-Brampton: Meagan (Brampton Library co-host) is bringing a Toaster oven Breville BOV800XL /A 2014 Often you have to press the "start" button multiple times before it actually starts. It beeps every time you press it, but until you press it the right way it won't turn on. None of the hacks we've found online seem to apply to our particular problem (though others have asked about this problem)

Myra From USA-CA-Orinda: Myra (from numerous Virtual Fixit Clinics) is back with a Printer Epson Workforce 7610 2015 The red ink won't print. It hasn't printed the whole time i've tried to fix it. I bought a second red cartridge have followed on line Global Fixer server suggestions for cleaning clogged print heads. I have used water/paper towel method. I have assembled some tools that may be handy, including syringes. 30 lbs (its a large format printer)

NEW:
Sevrena From USA-MN-Minneapolis: Portable document scanner Brother DS-280DW It is a rechargeable unit, BUT the charge port attachment becomes loose and no longer accepts/holds the charge cord in place. I tried to look online, but can't figure out how to open the device to repair the issue the charging cord doesn't stay plugged in because the port moved inside the scanner. Peggy From USA-VT-Middlesex: 1990 stereo system with new speakers ONKYO Serial # 0830DC5860101143 2011 or earlier The sound is intermittent but mostly doesn't work. The same for the CD player and the cassette player, none work. Pushing in connections in case they were loose.

Larry From USA-CA-Berkeley: Hand Blender Cuisinart CSB-75 2016 The motor turns great, but the blender shaft and blade do not spin along with the motor. I assume something is stripped either on the blade shaft end or the socket it fits into. I've looked at some YouTube videos on how to disassemble hand blenders, but not found any directions that I can follow.

Beryl From USA-MA-Brookline: Laptop HP DESKTOP-5P01OUA 2018 The volume is not loud enough. I have tried everything. I have gone to settings and made sure the volume was up. I reinstalled the drivers. I have made sure that the volume level I see by accessing the Windows Icon. It is at 99%. Help!

David From USA-OR-Hillsboro: Hot water pot Bialetti KK-2030 2018 It might be the temp gauge... It hasn't worked properly since my wife got the bottom a bit wet. Won't stay on and heat the water. I tried waiting to make sure it was fully dried out and not shorting due to water in it. The bottom has these weird triangle screws. I ordered triangle bit from Amazon so I can open up the bottom of the pot!

Liz From CAN-ON-Toronto: HP Photosmart C4680 print/scan/copy HP Q8418A (2006) 2011 or earlier When silverlight program became unavailable in Jan.2021, I went online to HP to download the substitute scanning program. I managed to do one scan. After that, when I turned the printer on, it began making loud repetitive noises like it was stripping gears. It now does not grab paper......  says it's out of paper. I wondered if HP had substituted the program that it uses while I was online, so I hooked up an old computer and tried to run it with the original program. Still does the same thing the first and second time I tried it......  the third time, it doesn't make the noise but continues to fail to grab paper. Plus it looks really dirty inside!  I have looked for YouTube repairs, but not brave enough to try it completely on my own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CF99VQldsho  What tools and cleaning supplies should I have on hand?
