The GEC Leadership Team Looking for a Volunteer/Moderator Coordinator

Hi Educator Advisory Board -

Our volunteer leadership team is looking for an savvy, enthusiastic person to join us! Specifically, we're  looking for a volunteer/moderator coordinator or coordinators for this year's conference. Duties would include scheduling moderators for sessions and coordinating with other leadership team members to enlist volunteers for other duties such as curating the wiki, utilizing social media etc. Several people can take these duties on, and hopefully, it will make the process less time intensive.

Hi Lucy,
I am willing to help as BbC trainer for presenters/participants. I
currently have this role where I work, the Language Acquisition
Resource Center at San Diego State University (http://
larc.sdsu.edu/). I can also help moderate a couple of session. Due
to other responsibilities and upcoming conferences I cannot commit to
all of the duties you listed, but I am willing to be part of a
volunteer team.

Thanks, Evan. My advice would be to join the volunteer group at http://globaleducationconference.com. Whomever takes over as the volunteer leader will enlist people to moderate individual sessions as the conference draws near. Moderators will most likely self-schedule using a tool that we used last year for the general sessions, so the volunteer leader will just need to make sure sessions are covered.
