Dear GDJC Community,
We wish you all well. We are delighted to welcome
Neftali Eduardo Antonito-Villa to give our July GDJC Talk. Neftali is
concluding his PhD at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He will present his
research on the epidemiological impact of social inequalities on cardiometabolic diseases in Mexico and Latin-American populations.
GDJC Talks themselves are 30-45
min long, followed by 15-30 min of discussion with the speaker, moderated by our co-organizers. If time permits before the end of the hour, we can share resources and events of interest in diabetes epidemiology.
Please share this announcement with anyone you think would be interested
in joining -- all are welcome to attend. We will record this session and post it, with captions, to our GDJC website and YouTube
channel, where you can also check out the previous GDJC talks.
We
look forward to seeing you soon.
Best wishes,
