Dear GDJC Community,

We wish you all well. We are delighted to welcome Dr. Anthony Muchai Manyara to give our March GDJC Talk. He recently completed his PhD at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, and will discuss his research on comparing risk factors between people with type 2 diabetes and matched controls in Nairobi, Kenya. 

This session will take place on Wed, 23rd Mar 2022 at 13-14h UK time (flyer attached). Please register here to get the calendar reminder and Zoom link.

GDJC Talks themselves are 30-45 min long, followed by 15-30 min of discussion with the speaker, moderated by our co-organizers. If time permits before the end of the hour, we can share resources and events of interest in diabetes epidemiology.
