Dart Hackaton Ukraine

Hi guys !

My name is Vitaliy, I'm organizer of GDG Lviv. I and my friends from GDG Kyiv and Donets'k are going to make Dart hackaton April 28-29, which will take place in three cities of Ukraine.

We have a couple of questions to organizers of global event:

1. Does Google sponsor whole event including  drinks and snacks, prizes for best teams etc or only some part of this ? If yes, whom shoud we contact to, Google Ukraine ?
2. As there are no professional  Dart developers yet, is it possible that someone from Google make some kind of online conference for hackatons that take place at the same time (e.g.   Silicon Valley , Prague,  Tel Aviv,  London  and Ukraine)  ?

Also it would be cool to have hangouts with teams from other countries, what you think about this idea ?

An IRC channel #dart will be available during the hackathon, where dvelopers from dart team will be there to assist developers.
There have been few hangouts where developers trained the organizers with basics of dart.
For more details you can contact seth ladd , he will let you know about sponsorship details and your other queries.

Yes, please provide dates, location, and registration form and I will add to site. The registration form should have a map to the location, exact times and locations, and a way to contact you for more info. Ideally, the registration form should also find out more about your attendees, like their most proficient language and years of experience.

Hi,

I'm a coordinator of GDG Kyiv Center. We have a lot of enthusiastic front-end programmers here in Kyiv, so we'd like to hold a Dart hackathon too, even without official support.

What'd be great is if we can listen to one of the keynotes in other cities (e.g., London or Prague) via a Hangout. This would give our participants a spirit of globality and kick them into hacking mode. Is it possble?

I have a few more questions. We want to print t-shirts for our attendees, and it'll be cool to have the same print as on t-shirts that other hackathons had, so could you provide some images that was printed on t-shirts or at least link to photos from your hachathon.
The second question is regarding prizes, is it possible to make hangout with Dart team for our winners ?
