To all,

To update on the webinar for this fall, we are going to be delayed at least into mid December due to a death in the family of one of our staff members.

Our webinar will feature the international division of the Moran Eye Center and we will have as our guests Dr. Alan Crandall and Dr. Jeff Pettey along with some of their staff.   

The Moran Eye Center has shown leadership in organizing and performing international missions both in their dedication to teaching and surgical excellence but also in efficiency.  They have much a wealth of experience and knowledge in how to conduct ophthalmology surgical outreaches.  We will be discussing this in detail with their team.   The date has not yet been set but we hope to have this set fairly soon and will surely send that out via this group for dissemination.  Thanks for all of your interest.

In relation to future webinars, I would specifically love to have thoughts from this group in terms of subjects that would be of particular interest.  Any comments on our past webinars and which ones have been the most helpful are also welcome.

On another note, we are gearing up to develop a more definitive MSICS training curriculum and would love to know the interest of this community in having a more defined program available.  We are in discussion with several groups about making this a reality.  

I appreciate the support of this community and will welcome involvement of many of you who have further interest.
