MSICS Online Classroom

Dear global cataract discussion group,

We have officially launched the MSICS Online classroom.  It is at:  classroom.globalsight.org

Please register on the site and look to see the resources already available. 

I would like to ask you to consider being part of either the "editorial board" or "site management team".  

Some of the tasks of these groups would be as follows:

Editorial board
1.  Review material - videos or lectures that are submitted
2.  Find new materials that should be featured
3.  Moderate discussions
4.  Setup criteria for featuring submitted materials

Website management team
1.  Brainstorm for best organization of materials
2.  Welcome and communicate with newly registered users
3.  Discuss how to best handle issues such as language groups utilizing site
4.  Improve site appearance and function

I honestly don't anticipate heavy work for any of this immediately but certainly having a team of 4 to 6 for each would be great.  Thus far we have had 2 volunteers to be on the editorial board.

Yes there is.   We are meeting Sunday morning at 7 am to 8 am at Moscone rm 226

We're meeting with a variety of folks regarding the classroom and other topics.
