Global cataract discussion progress

To all in the global cataract discussion group,

We recently had a successful webinar discussing the complications of phaco vs MSICS in trainees, residents, fellows and staff at Aravind Eye Hospital.  It was fairly well attended and we had 109 doctors from around the world register for this webinar.  We anticipate that the video for the webinar will be available shortly for online viewing for anyone who wishes to watch this.

In the short term, I am inviting all doctors who registered for the webinar to join this discussion group to jumpstart this listserv with more voices for discussion going forward.  For those of you who have joined, we haven't had much active discussion yet, but we anticipate that this group will grow quite a bit in the next few months and so we'll see where the discussions lead.

I will be posting to this group as soon as Apple has approved the Aravind manual and videos for iPad which we have finished.  You may also note this page for progress on this:  http://www.globalsight.org/latest-news/free-msics-manual.html
