Sancken Automotive Inc609 W Center StEureka, IL 61530309-467-2422 Recharge The AC Freon In Your Car Or Truck
SANCKEN AUTOMOTIVE INC > The Best Auto Repair And Maintenance Services > AC REPAIR > RECHARGING YOUR CAR'S AC
Your truck or car's AC system is almost completely airtight, but your freon refrigerant is always slowly leaking out. Eventually, a car will lose enough freon so that its air conditioning system will no longer cool effectively. At Sancken Automotive Inc at 609 W Center St we are ready to recharge your AC to help you keep your car or truck's cabin temperature cool.
New advancements in R134a freon systems means that freon in newer cars doesn't leak out as much as old R12 freon systems. The average new model economy car only leaks about 0.41 ounces of refrigerant per year. Come to Sancken Automotive Inc in Eureka when it's time to recharge your AC freon.
Unfortunately R12 freon is no longer available. If your car or truck was made before 1994 you must convert your entire AC system to the new R134a standard. This involves replacing dozens of seals and several AC auto parts. R134a is a more highly pressurized and much more efficient refrigerant pound for pound than R12. Most classic car AC compressors and condensers cannot withstand the intense pressure required and choose to add about 25% less freon to accommodate older systems. This means your AC may not cool as well as it used to. Converting your R12 system to R134a is a big job so stop by Sancken Automotive Inc today and talk with our mechanics about getting the job done right. Visit us today at 609 W Center St.
Many auto repair shops resell used AC refrigerant. The old freon is cleaned using a specialized recovery machine that removes contaminants. Used freon provided by Sancken Automotive Inc works just as well as new freon after it's cleaned. Accepting used freon is a great way to help minimize the impact freon has on the environment.
Freon gas becomes a liquid when pressurized inside your car's A/C system but returns to its gaseous state as it leaks out. Many drivers in Eureka are completely unaware that they are losing freon until the day when they turn on the car's AC and find only warm air blows out. Call 309-467-2422 and ask any of our auto repair specialists about recharging your car's AC. Stop by our store at 609 W Center St and we will show you the best AC recharging options for your car.
Great Experience! My first time having a vehicle repair at this shop and the people were friendly and most of all honest. Not only do they have their own towing service, which saved me time calling a tow company, but they also came up with a more efficient way to fix my vehicle which saved me money. I paid for my repairs feeling like I was truly cared for and taken care of. I highly recommend this shop!
I highly recommend Sancken's if you're looking for friendly, honest and dependable service. In all of my years of service, they've made one minor mistake (not fastening a bolt) and they were quick to fix it and apologetic. They really care about their customers and treat you like a human! Keep up the great work!

I've been going here for years after my mom had a great experience with Michael. Michael is now the only person I will take my vacuum to for service. He also turned me on to the Riccar vacuums and after purchasing it, it has been a life changer with the amount of dust it keeps inside the bag. My stepson used to have bad allergy attacks when using our old Dyson or any other vacuum. He never has one with the RIccar. The customer service here is always top notch!

Moved to Reno only to find my Dyson broke during the move. Saw Nevada Vacuum was a certified Dyson repair shop and went there knowing I would have to purchase a new vacuum cleaner. I never liked the Dyson so we were starting all over. The manager of the shop (Michael) showed me the line of Riccar vacuums he insists on and actually TOLD me that I didn't need the top-of-the-line $1200 vacuum even though we have 2 dogs and puppy sit frequently. The Riccar is the BEST vacuum I've EVER used (better than Miele, MUCH better than Dyson, better than my old Hoover), and I'm very pleased with the service after the sale as well. I bring it in every year to get it checked out, belts replaced if necessary, wheels balanced, roller and roller bristles checked, and I truly expect to keep this vacuum cleaner for the next 20 years!

Diesel vehicles often get a reputation for being less fuel-efficient than gasoline cars, but we say this is an unfair accusation. Though both gasoline and diesel engines mix and compress fuel and air inside their cylinders, a gas engine uses a spark plug to generate the energy that keeps your car moving, while a diesel engine builds pressure in the fuel-air mixture itself to generate heat. Although diesel fuel is usually more expensive than regular gasoline, a gallon of diesel engine will take you further than a gallon of gasoline engine. Many carmakers, including Ford, Chevrolet, RAM, VW, and others, have several diesel vehicles, making diesel a viable option for many.
If you live in or near Eureka, CA, Arcata, CA, Fortuna, CA, Garberville, CA, or McKinleyville, CA, you can come to Johnson Automotive & Electric for all your diesel engine needs. There are several types of diesel engines that different car brands use for their diesel vehicles. Ford cars will typically use Power Stroke engines. These engines have been manufactured by Ford since 2010. Additionally, today's Power Stroke engines are known for their fuel efficiency, power, and lightness. Chevrolet uses Duramax diesel engines, which feature low torque and allow your vehicle to carry more weight, exhaust braking, and increased fuel efficiency. Cummins is a Fortune 500 company that makes state-of-the-art diesel and natural gas-powered engines as well as engine parts. The Cummins engine is most commonly seen in the Dodge Ram but can be found in other vehicles as well.
