Hi there,

I stumbled upon Glista just a few weeks ago and want to say "Thanks" to
the author. So, thanks :)

Anyway, one little thing keeps bugging me:
Glista is started automatically when I login and runs throughout my
whole session, so my desktop of choice (XFCE) kills it, when I logout.
That seems to prevent Glista from remembering its window size and
placement. The placement doesn't really bother me, since I just have to
put it where I like and close it to make it remember that choice. But
closing and re-opening Glista every time I resize the window starts
bothering me.

Is it possible to make Glista remember its window size (and perhaps
placement) when killed?

Bye,
Markus

My pleasure, glad you enjoy it! (btw several people have contributed
over time, there is more than one author actually).

There is probably a way, and it's not very hard. Unfortunately, I
can't really spend too much time on Glista right now (and haven't in
the last few months). I don't even have a GNOME or other GTK desktop
as my main working environment right now (long story, work constraints
- but I expect to be back sometime..). So if someone picks it up and
fixes it, that's great, if not maybe I'll do it but it will take
time.

I suggest you open a feature request in the bug tracking system
(http://code.google.com/p/glista/issues/list) so this gets
remembered.

Thanks,

Shahar.
