How to transpose a giant TXT file?

to GlioVis - Data Visualization Tools for Brain Tumor Datasets

Recently I downloaded CGGA data from GlioVis. I found there have more than 20k genes in the TXT file.

Does anyone know how to transpose this data file?

I hope the gene list in the column and the patient number is in the row.
