I am trying to set up a paid section in my discord channel. I am looking to add a reoccurring subscription button linked to paypal. When the customer signs up for the subscription service and competes a successful sale in paypal then zapier would assign them a premium role.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have any experience with integrating the Discord app with a subscription membership within Squarespace? Im setting up a member workshop and would like to give each member automatic access to a private Discord server room since some of the workshop will require this type of community interaction provided by Discord.

We have a community and paid members have private channels that only they can access, currently using a spreadsheet to manage and people have to DM us to get added to the right roles, but I would like that streamlined the way memberful handles it -

I ended up recently getting this set up using Zapier and the Supercord bot - you need to have somewhere to capture the email address and discord user id. Supercord forces them to reply and 2FA their email. It is working really well.

Like Donald mentioned below, Zapier can get pricy - you could also do it with any other automation system I think. I just set up Zapier quickly to get it going, But anything that allows the triggers will work.

When I purchased a yearly Discord nitro (in-app), the nitro isn't activate for the account that was currently using, but on the old Discord account one. I had to refund, but still don't know how to purchase a new subscription for my new Discord account using my same Apple ID. I think I'm having the same problem with this thread's OP

It looks like you subscribed to Discord through the App Store on an iOS device, but are looking for them through the Discord application on a Windows PC. If you open the Discord app on the iOS device you subscribed with, do you see the subscription there? If you do, make sure you are signed into the same Discord account on all of your devices as the one on your iOS device.

If you check your iTunes and App Store subscriptions through iTunes on your Windows PC, does the subscription appear? How about if you check on your iOS device again? You can use the steps in If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support to help view the subscription (even if you're not intending to cancel it. The steps in this article will show you how to view on your different devices).

If you're still not seeing the subscription, you can report a problem with it by visiting Report A Problem, signing in with the Apple ID used to purchase the subscription, and following the on-screen prompts.

on subscriptionChanged

1.a) if user just subscribed, show discord login, after login send info to server and use discord API to assign role. Store subscribed overwolf name and discord uid

1.b) if user unsubscribed, send info to server and remove discord role for respective overwolf name

Yeah that could work indeed. I was just thinking that this will be a pretty common need, so having something built-in would IMO be a good capitalization of a community feature, instead of having everyone re-implement it on their side.

Regarding your question about subscription webhooks. I guess you mean that, once a user is subscribed, OW will trigger a pre-defined webhook or something like this. Is that correct?

Anyway, we really want to add some endpoint that allows you to query and get some info about subscribers/subscriptions. Is that would be something that can work for you?

I think the issue with only having an endpoint is that we need to periodically query it. While that endpoint would definitely be useful for other purposes, as far as the Discord role requirement is concerned I would rather have something directly integrated in OW, or a webhook

If there's a private url or other http web service system of the discord api, like slack has webhooks , that can be triggered to do this then a shopify app like usemechanc can theoretically be scripted to do this.

Server Subscriptions give members the opportunity to subscribe to different tiers of monthly paid subscriptions on your server. A server subscriber will appear on your server as a role (like the Nitro Booster role). To create a subscriber role, the role requires special access to a minimum of one text channel.

With a Server Subscription, you as a server owner can choose what benefits your subscribers will get access to. This can be special channels, exclusive emojis, special role colors, or even extra benefits outside of Discord.

Yes and No. You can activate Discord Server Subscriptions on your server even when you are located outside of the US. Server Subscription will be enabled on your server and available to all members. You can create tiers. Members can buy server subscriptions and you can set up payments.

What is currently an obstacle is that the payment platform Stripe is only accepting payouts to users registered with a valid SSN (Social Security number). Your earnings from Server Subscription are therefore secured on your Stripe account until Discord officially supports payments to non-US citizens.

The guide consists of multiple steps. Some steps are easy whereas others can require some more steps and the use of some extra tools. Feel free to skip any steps that you have already fulfilled. You can use the table of contents.

What is Discord Community? Discord Community provides some extra useful features to your Discord servers such as Member Screenings and Insider statistics. Community is recommended for server owners who are managing public community servers.

Stripe checks SSNs (Social Security numbers) with the IRS. This means that your details will be denied after a short period. Regardless you are now signed up on Stripe and you will be ready for when Discord officially makes Server Subscriptions available outside of the US and in your region.

Importer eksisterende roller: Du kan importere eksisterende rollers adgang til specielle kanaler, s du kan oprette abonnementer baseret p andre rollers tilladelser. Men der er ikke ndvendigt at oprette en rolle inden du opretter Tiers.

You are using Wise.com, is this required?

With Wise you can receive money to an US dollar bank account. From wise you can convert USD to you own currencies with low fees and payout to a local bank account.

Can I payout my earnings?

You can only payout earnings from your Stripe account if you have access to a US SSN. This means that you will need to have someone on your team who have access to this so that you can payout your earnings.

If you find a solution keep in mind that Discord states that you need to have earned at least 100 USD and you need to have an estimated income of 25 USD for the coming month. (Discords Monetization Terms)

I was asked to create a discord Bot which would give access to those who subscribe to a payment plan.

My immediate thought was to ask every new user who joins discord for their order number so I can connect the discord userid with an order number. But soon I discovered that if a payment plan gives out a free trial for X days, it doesnt give them an order number, it only does when they actually pay after the free trial.

So, my second thought was that I should ask for their customer ID on square and connect that to the discord userid. My question would be, whether the customers have access to their customer ID or is it something that only the seller can see?Is my way of thinking correct or is there a better way?
