Next Glen Region SCCA Autocross Event #6 Saturday September 20th: Chemung Speedrome 

Please be respectful of both the track, who is graciously is hosting us, and the neighbors around the area by being clean/picking up your stuff, keeping the engine noise, and driving behavior coming and going reasonable 20 MPH until you leave the Speedway property.  Don’t be that guy.

Directions:

NY-17/I-86 about 10 mi east of Elmira and 5 mi west of Waverly, NY and Sayre/Athens, PA.

 

 Schedule:

·         8 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.      Pre-registration check-in, registration, & Tech

·         9:30 a.m.                   Mandatory Drivers’ Meeting followed by a novice walk of the course

·         10:00 a.m.                 First Car Off

·         Around noon              Informal Lunch Break (time allowing)

·         1:00 p.m.                   Afternoon Runs Start

·         Before 4:00 p.m.       Clean up & awards!

• After event                   Diversion Brewing just north of the track.  Food truck.  Beer.  Non-alcoholic drinks.  Beautiful place!

Nearest gas station is Dandy Mart (unbranded low detergent fuel) across the track and Sunoco Dandy truck stop east on I-86/NY17 3 miles away.   Bring your lunch or get food at Dandy Mart across street or options in Waverly/Sayre such as Fast food chains, Sopranos, etc.

We will meet at Diversion Brewing north of the track about a mile on the left, please be respectful with driving in the area after the event and use common sense.

 

2025 Glen Region Championship points

Your best 6 events of 8 total events count the for the 2025 Glen Region SCCA Autocross Championship.  These results include the two (2) Out of Region events at FLR Seneca Army Depot and SNY at Chemung Speedrome.
