Idiot.
Life is dangerous; paragliding requires responsibility. If you have an accident, even if you feel you were not at fault, you still have to take responsibility for your actions. (I feel qualified in more ways than one to hold this opinion.)
Get well insured, fine, but don't sue when your decision to fly turns out to have been a bad one.
