I could use your help in getting the word out about our 23rd Annual Beach Days Blood Drive taking place at the Sheraton Hotel on July 5th. If you may be able to help promote, I have attached a poster and drop-ins for social media. Below is information that you may also use in emails, if helpful. Join the American Red Cross and Audacy Madison at the 23rd annual Beach Days Blood Drive Wednesday, July 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel, 706 John Nolen Drive. Heroes come in all types and your blood type is needed this summer!
All presenting donors at this blood drive will receive an exclusive Red Cross beach towel, dry bag and a $10 Food Fight Restaurant Group gift card, while supplies last. Great food will also be provided!
PLUS, all presenting donors will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Summer Fun Grill Package including a Wireless Bluetooth Portable Travel Speaker, 60qt Wheeled Insulated Portable Cooler and Standup Propane Gas Grill!
The American Red Cross asks people to book a time to give blood to address a recent drop in donation appointments that could lead to fewer transfusions for patients in the weeks ahead. Type O blood donors are especially needed to ensure a strong blood supply.
Summer can shake up normal routines, but it’s important for donation appointments to stay on the calendar. Blood donations often take a dip around the Fourth of July holiday - but the need for blood and platelet transfusions doesn’t take a summer break. Appointments are critical for people waiting for lifesaving care.
