Subject: Glen Oak Hills and Metro Network Redesign



Hello!

I am reaching out to communicate upcoming changes that may impact the Glen Oak Hills neighborhood and the service offered by Metro Transit. There is an upcoming network redesign scheduled to change June 11^th of 2023. Each individual’s experience will vary depending on if they use the Metro, where they live, and where they need to go. One of the goals in the redesign is to increase frequency of service, which results in some riders having further to walk/travel than they are used to. My hope is to communicate these changes ahead of the start date to provide folks the opportunity to plan and prepare.

Currently, there are individual route maps that pertain to the redesign in June. https://www.cityofmadison.com/metro/documents/Individual_Route_Maps_1-11.pdf
While all the routes may be important for individual trips, your neighborhood will have service available on Routes A, F, R1, and R2.

I will be doing many outreach events and activities to get the information out there, answer questions, help with trip planning, and/or provide documents and images that can be shared in formats like a newsletter. If your neighborhood has an interest in getting more information or attend one of your neighborhood meetings, I am available to attend if you’d like that as well.
