A message from Mary,

It's that time again: this week is OU's annual Pride Week. We've got a docket full of events, so be sure to wear pride gear all week and check out our fabulous offerings.

Here's a quick rundown of events, and you can find more information on facebook athttp://www.facebook.com/events/263920063700683/.

Monday: Opening Ceremonies in Wagner 280 at 7 pm (queer games and t-shirt decorating and torch lighting, oh my!)

Tuesday: Film screening at 7pm in Wagner 280 (if you have a suggestion, bring it, and we'll vote on what we want to see)

Wednesday: Queer Royalty pageant and drag show performances (emailstanf...@ou.edu if you want to participate)

Thursday: Art Show at Downtown Sound at 7 pm (email laurel.c...@ou.edu if you want to participate)

Friday: The Day of Silence (remain silent to raise awareness about GLBT discrimination)

Breaking the Silence open mic at Second Wind from 8-11 pm

We NEED volunteers to table Monday and Friday on the South Oval from 10-2. It's an important chance to increase visibility for our community at OU, so please help out! And don't forget to email me or Laurel if you're interested in participating in the pageant or art show.

Also, change your facebook profile to our awesome pride week logo. And don't forget the rainbow gear this week. Wear it with pride, bring up GLBT issues with friends and peers, and generally take this excuse to live out and proud at OU. See you guys this week!
