Subject: [Kannada] Tamil option in Bangalore Citi number
Dear Sir,
I called your number 080-22272484. I was shocked to get language options for English and Tamil. I hope and believe that 080 still stands for Bangalore STD code, and has not gone to Tamilnadu. Could you explain what is the need for Tamil option when the language of the state, Kannada, is not listed? Or are all your customers only Tamilians?
Please do not think this is a narrow, chauvinistic
view. Demand for our language in our state is valid, and makes business sense also. It is easy to think that all such pleas related to respect for our language as narrow minded, particularly for MNCs like you. You MNCs do not understand the complex issues like language and culture of the state in a country like India, and see anything and everything from only a business point of view.
Could you please remove Tamil option and replace it with Kannada?
Regards,
Shrideep
