IDF & PCF files are text (ASCII) files which are generated by plant design
software(s) during automatic isometric generation. In the most design
software(s), ISOGEN (from ALIAS Co.-UK) is isometric engine which reads IDF &
PCF files and generates isometrics drawings. I-SKETCH, SPOOLGEN, I-TOOLS,
etc. software(s) from ALIAS can be used to open IDF & PCF files and generate
isometrics in DXF or DWG formats.
