Attractive Salary Package

The Manager Operations, reporting to the Executive Manager Water Services, provides leadership of the Operations Team to deliver effective operations and maintenance of the water network, wastewater network, water treatment facilities and wastewater treatment facilities. The Manager Operations will lead the Operations Team through a change management process to develop a culture that enables people to achieve their potential in a safe working environment.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated effective strategic leadership and management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage the Operations team.
  • Experience in identifying community and customer service needs and in leading the delivery of quality customer service.
  • Proven ability to align workforce and organization performance through developing a positive workplace environment and workforce performance culture.
  • Proven experience in the management of human, financial and capital resources to provide efficient and effective service delivery for the Program.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track record of success in initiating and managing change in a diverse service environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Workplace Health & Safety and Equal Employment Opportunity principles and practices.
  • Current drivers licence.
