optical4less vs. 39dollarglasses

Hello, new here, though not a stranger to buy glasses online.
I'm, in the market for new glasses, (in fact, I'm in the market for a
new prescription, but gotta fined and eye doctor I trust first.) the
last time I got glasses online, I bought them from 39dollarglasses.com
and was rather disappointed in them. They were all right, just not as
good as the one I had got form them before (this was the second time
buy glasses online) . And they haven't held up very well, the
protective coating on the right eye is peeling at a alarming rate,
despite being babied along, and the whole frame feel loose on my face
now, I'm always afraid the glasses will fall off, despite trying to
tight everything back up. You can say for how long I've had them at
the price I got them, that's a good life, but still... if I hadn’t
step on the first frame one morning after knocking them of the night
stand, I'd still be using them, they were that much better
.
So, now in this world of the ever-leaner wallet, I want to get the
best deal I can, and not put my peeper in danger. In reviewing online
store here, I see 39dollarglasses.com and optical4less.com come up as
two good choice. It'd take a bit of convincing for me to buy from
39dollarglasses.com again, but I'm not saying no. Just rather hear
what others have to say after I explain why it may be a bit different
for me then some other who buy glasses on line.

Here's my conundrum. I work in a furniture shop, as well as a lot of
outdoors work on weekends. In the furniture shop I end up doing a lot
of the finishing of then end pieces, as well as modeling rough-cut
wood around. And when I'm outdoors I'm doing things like clearing
land, fixing buildings, the type of work that you don't want a new
pair of glasses have a lens pop out on you, or the frames fall off
your face cause the screw won’t stay tight, or something along those
lines happening.

I'd really like to buy a nice pair of good-looking frames (woman
vanity, if I gotta wear the damn things, at least they have to look
nice) there are still hardy and then some safety glasses in my
proscription for the rough work. I know a lot depends on the frame you
pick, but anyone have any recommendation as to which site would give
me a better shot of getting good frames (preferably metal) with a good
UV & Scratch coating that won't peel or come off to soon, and maybe
polycarbonate lenses for the safety glasses? I don’t know if it
matters, but my eyes have very different strength prescriptions, the
left is much weaker then the right, and I could drive with out my
glasses. Thanks!

I'm waring a pair from goggles4u as I right this.  I've had them about three years and the anti-reflection is as good as new.  They've also been through being hit with a football and wrestling with or being tackled by now 13 year old.  The lenses are as good as new; no scratches or dis-colorization.  They are plastic frames though.

I've seen particularly good reviews of the frames at
coastalcontacts.com... Ira seemed genuinely pleased with the results.
They're detailed on his blog from a few months back.
