I bought a pair of bifocals from EyeBuyDirect and thought they were
great, but didn't like the hard-line of the bifocals. So I bought
varifocals from them and thought they were great too but found that
their photochromatic coating just didn't get clear enough (for
instance, at night at the computer). So I ordered a pair of the same
varifocals without the coating (to have an indoor/outdoor pair and an
indoor pair).
The new glasses arrived today, and the prescription's just not at all
right. It seems that the reading part takes much more percentage of
the lens area than my photochromatic ones. Looking straight forward
and turning my head there is a great deal of distortion, which doesn't
happen with my photochromatic ones. They feel like I'm looking through
someone else's glasses.
I see they have a one-time-only return/refund option, though they
don't mention "wrong prescription" as grounds for returning or
refunding. Which should I choose? Would "refund" be better, and then I
can re-order? Because if there's a one-time-only return, but the
second pair comes back incorrect, I'm out of luck, right?
I have checked the order and the order of my photochromatic glasses
and the prescription entered is the same.
