Laura,

Thanks for your video review of your glasses order - it was an
interesting survey.

I've tried a slightly different approach of putting my glasses orders
(awaiting my fourth) in a spreadsheet with side-by-side listings of
the glasses dimensions and an assessment about what I like best about
each pair of glasses. First two were a semi-rimless & full rim from
Eyebuydirect, third was a rimless from Zenni, and fourth is a rimless
from Coastal Contact. I've been spacing my orders a few weeks apart to
fully assess a frame before trying a new one.

The format is similar to the laboratory notebooks that I used to keep
in chemistry & physics classes. I now keep tweaking my measurements
and have gotten down to a fairly specific preference for frame
measurements. Like Laura, I'll also try various index lenses.

So far, the only problem was mismeasuring the PD by 1 mm on the first
pair of glasses, but they're still quite usable.
