I need bifocals, mainly for reading. The ADD for both eyes is 1.75
but I also some minor distance correction.

My prescription is written in a table as follows:
Right: plano CYL: -75 AXIS: 95
Left: -50 Then there is a dash through the CYL and AXIS
columns

Do I interpret the dash through the CYL and AXIS colums for the left
eye as meaning there is no correction or that it is the same as the
right eye listed in the column above?

I think you are right. If there are no numbers, no corrections are
needed.
the missing two numbers are for astigmatism correction.
Your left eye has no cylinder , no axis, so you have no astigmatism
with your left eye.
Someone correct this if I am wrong.

The dashes should mean no correction.

Because the prescription is so weak, I'd also suggest experimenting
with a single prescription pair with +1.75 in both eyes and no other
correction. See if that's good enough for both eyes by closing one eye
at a time while reading.
