Deleted posts and comments still display in the list with "[Message
deleted by the <user>]". Is it possible to remove these deleted posts/
comments so they no longer appear?

Thanks,

Dean

At present it is not possible. We left them in because we thought it might be confusing to users that items could just disappear, particularly if a status with comments on it was deleted.

Just joined a few hours ago.  The Board will become very cluttered and messy w/o being able to clean out old posts.  If you wont be putting this functionality in, i wont be using it.  Should be the Board Chairman's right to delete.

Larry,
Older posts will just fall off the bottom of your view, to keep down the clutter. We haven't found a need to delete posts very often - typically just the occasional message that was posted in error.

Is there some reason you think you'll need to delete a lot of posts?

Yes.  We want to use it for weekly updates between several members of my staff.  I only want to have the 25 or 30 posts from that week to look at.  When you say older, how old is that?  Thanks,

I don't recall precisely how many each client will show. But since they show up in chronological order, you should easily be able to tell when you start reading older posts.

I've found myself deleting and re-posting since there's no way to edit.  I agree with Larry, the Chair should have the option to remove those entirely, and there's no reason to have them there at all if there aren't any comments yet.

I also hope you can drop them, I delete posts when the reason for the thread has been satisfied. I can see no use at all for empty lines. Maybe you can offer a choice at delete time so those wanting them 'as evidence' can keep them.

Loving the app! I am using the free version to coordinate development of a very rush iPhone app for the fall term at Olds College in Alberta, Canada... I am in Ontario. I bumped into Glassboard looking for a secure forum for college students to perhaps use to do such things as arrange sharing rides, etc. without non-college people leching into it. Not sure if we w ill do that but it works great for rapid development.

In Chrome and Safari on the iPad there are still overlaying text issues on left side.
