is there a 'compact' view to use?

Do you offer a "compact view" for users to choose from? see the attachment for example.

Using this view will make the board more like a 'chat' than a facebook-ish message 'post', easier for discussions. attachments (images, videos files) will be displayed in thumbnail forms still.
