Video not working in browser

Some of my in-laws are not big on sharing publicly on Facebook so I
set up a board for them. However, we've been having problems watching
videos that were posted to a board. From iPhone, no problem. From
the web, I get a black screen with a spinning dot icon and the video
never starts. In Chrome, I can right click (or ctrl click on a mac)
and open the video in a new tab to get it to play. In Safari (5.1.7),
no such luck. I can't get a video to play at all.

Is this a known problem? or is there something I am missing?

Hi Alex,
Unfortunately it is a known problem, not your fault at all. It's
high on my list of things to fix, so hopefully it won't be too long.

  Unfortunately some other things came up, so I haven't had a chance to look at this yet.
