Dear friends,

http://www.walkjogrun.net/routes/current_route.cfm?rid=713EC7C5-F534-DEFD-F1573FD18220A7FE&success=1

^ This ^ is my sponsored run, next Saturday, the 12th of November,
from Scotland's 3rd poorest community, to Scotland's largest oil
refinery, starting at the memorial to Scotland's most famous radicals
John Baird and Andrew Hardie, who were executed for fighting for a
Scottish democracy, at a time when the UK was ran like some of the
despotic monarchist police states of the middle East today.

But Scotland today still faces profound injustice.  Fuel prices are up
almost 18% for many this year. This is more three times the rate of
inflation, according to the Bank of England, and nearly ten times the
rate of salary increases, for those working people who are still
receiving wage increases.  In '09/'10 around 3000 people are thought
to have died from the cold in Scotland, and this year government is on
standby for this year to be a harsh winter.  Unless action is taken,
thousands will die from the cold.

Sponsor me and help fund community organising to challenge this
national scandal.

With your help we aim to fund over 100 one to one mentoring sessions,
over the coming three months aimed at building a new popular movement
around the fuel poverty issue.

Time for a fairer Scotland.

Cheers now,
Nick
