About

Woodlands Community has been at the forefront of integrating climate considerations into our anti-poverty work for almost a decade now. At the event we will be presenting findings from two research reports that were funded by the Scottish Government's Food Insecurity Team as way of documenting our best practice.

- Addressing Community Need, Woodlands Community Food Work Evaluation (Dr Helen Traill, 2022)

- Woodlands Community Cafe and Veg Box Scheme. Integrating anti-poverty and climate breakdown work (Maggie Kelly, 2022)

The event will also feature a networking lunch and an opportunity for a study visit to our premises and community garden.

Tickets

Tickets cost £35, this includes tea, coffee, cakes and lunch. All food will be plant based (vegan) and our menu will include gluten free options. Let us know when you book if you have any additional dietary requirements.
