All,
This
is an update on the severe weather and heavy rainfall potential for
this weekend. Overall, we are still expecting a low-end severe
weather risk with the possibility for two to three inches of rainfall.
For
northwest portion of the ArkLaMiss (mainly northwest of a Winnsboro, LA
to Yazoo City, MS to Eupora, MS line)
- Could have two rounds of severe weather to contend
with
- First round late Saturday afternoon into Saturday
night
- Second round Sunday
- Primary severe weather risks include damaging wind
gusts, large hail, and perhaps a few tornadoes.
For
the remainder of the ArkLaMiss
- There will be a risk for severe weather Sunday into
Sunday night
