Hi all,
You're right - the documentation and examples aren't really up to date at the moment. The default api-tidy branch is the best one to use, and for what it's worth there is a test app that illustrates the minimum set up.
The good news (you heard it here first) is that we're planning to release a CMS based on a site we've built, that will also serve as an eventtools demo. However, I'm afraid this is still some weeks away at our current resourcing levels. If anyone would like to get early access to the code[1], or would like to help with docs for eventtools, please let me know and I will help you kick things off.
Best,
Greg.
[1] Before we can share the code, we have to pull out some proprietary stuff that will break things first, so early access will either be for informational or helping-us-fix-it purposes.
