Alex & Trish installed one up at Pure Heart (on 42nd Ave side) on Sunday! Looks so great. Alex said he'd tally the total costs so we'd know what to expect.

Well we are having a potluck at the beginning and end of the event. I
believe Lisa has offered her place for the kick-off potluck. If you
are interested in doing the finale pot luck that would be great. If
not, each day we have a work party we have to provide food for
volunteers and we were hoping the homes who are doing the work on
their strip that day would host. If you are unable to host on the day
you want to do your planter strip, i think its fine to choose another
day. I have added a dinner section to the planter strip sign up page,
so you can add your name there.

No worries ladies; thanks for letting us know. Really, the whole reason for enrolling Gladstone in the VBC was to get outsite and get to know eachother/neighbors; if we create fun planter strips and pull some ivy in the process, that's all bonus :) So please do join us where you find time to; should be fun...
FYI to all: you can download the entire "Village Builder" online! Can also pick up a hard copy at Peoples, I believe... The Village Builder is a publication featuring all the sites, workshops, evening events, etc. taking place around Portland during the VBC.
