Happy Friday, Illinois! The GLACUHO board is gearing up for the Winter Meeting, where we will gather with all of our committee members in Brookston, Indiana. Please keep the 100+ association members in your thoughts this weekend, as they complete some vital work for the organization.  In fact, if you would like to take your involvement one step further, consider giving to the GLACUHO Gives Pay it Forward Pledge. At Winter Meeting, we are challenging members to donate $1.00 for each year of their GLACUHO involvement. If you are not attending Winter Meeting, but would still like to participate in the pledge, please send your donation with someone from your campus who will be attending. Throughout the year, there will be videos in the State Newsletters designed to acclimate the membership to the topic. This month’s video is about the role that social media played in dissent and student protests at Mizzou. The video is approximately 90 seconds long. After watching the video, please feel free to participate in a discussion on Twitter @glacuho #dissentingbehaviors or on the GLACUHO Facebook page. This video does not necessarily represent the views of GLACUHO or the Contemporary Issues Committee or its members.
