The Contemporary Issue for this year is Student Advocacy: Helping Support Students with Dissenting Behaviors. Throughout the year, there will be videos in the State Newsletters designed to acclimate the membership to the topic. This month’s video is about the role that social media played in dissent and student protests at Mizzou. The video is approximately 90 seconds long. This video does not necessarily represent the views of GLACUHO or the Contemporary Issues Committee or its members. It is designed to promote thought and conversation surrounding the topic of dissent.
