Hey GLACURH!
I just wanted to quickly introduce myself to you all. My name is Becky VanWychen, and I am the newly inducted Associate Director of NRHH. My mission this coming year is to help chapters transition from the old membership types to the new membership types. I also want to continue chartering new chapters and growing the already developed chapters by working with executive boards and supporting them in any way possible.
My first immediate goal is to set up a zoom 1:1s with all of the chapter presidents, advisers and other executive board members that would like to join. During these meetings I want to discuss goals for the chapter, clarify the new membership statuses, and possibly help transition new executive boards into their positions. If you could please email me back with times that work for you all, we can start setting up these meetings.
My second immediate goal is to establish the 2017-2018 GLACURH OTM Selection Committee. If you like recognition and reading OTMs please consider applying to serve on this committee. It will be around a 2-3 hour time commitment every month and you could be the determining factor of which OTMs get sent on to the NACURH level. The application can be found
HERE and is due on June 25th.
Finally, if you are apart of the outgoing executive board, please have your incoming members sign up for the listserv, so that they are all receiving the information coming from the region. You can sign up
HERE on both the GLACURH listserv and GLACURH NRHH listserv.
Thank you all for reading through this long email. I cannot wait to start working with you all and seeing what we can accomplish together this coming year!
Peace, Love, Polar Bears,
Becky VanWychen
