I have found that after publishing a Knol, it gets lost in cyberspace,
except to yourself who may know where it is. Here I hope we can list
some of our own favourite knows and others can have a look at it. So
try telling us about your knowls.
Let me begin. I have written a Knol. It took me several weeks of
research. The reason I felt it had to be written was because the Media
was confusing the general public and I had to correct that
misconception. The essence of the knol was to show that the Dalai Lama
is the Head of the Gelug Buddhist sect of Tibet. Thus he only
represents at most, 80,000 loyal Gelug sect followers. Even going to
extremes of possiblities,
(1) the Dalai Lama only represents 0.36% of all the Buddhists in China
or
(2) the Dalai Lama only represents 0.14% of all the Buddhists in the
World.
Yet the media gives the impression that the Dalai Lama reppresents ALL
of Buddhism similar to the Pope representing the whole of the Catholic
population of the world. THE DALAI LAMA DOES NOT REPRESENTS ALL
BUDDHISTS in the universe. To appreciate this you have to read this
knol, "Å Modern Perspective of Buddhism":
