No Text Problems of transferring from one Format to Knol

I have a Mac which uses Microsoft Word as their default word
processor. Using this last Word Processor, I suddenly found that Word
froze after I have probably completed 4,000 words and I could not
carry on any further. So perhaps there was a limit to the length of
article it could cope with. So I am wondering if there are limitations
with the MS Word processor in Mac?

So I switched by C&P to Google Docs, and eventually finished my
article that I simply C&P to Google Knol with no problems or formating
complications. I did this because I am not yet confident with the
Google Knol format and did not want to lose my work.

I could also have used Blogger as my word processor abd then C&P to
Knols: http://help.blogger.com/

So far I have had no problems transferring articles, even very lengthy
ones, from one site to the other using the ordinary C&P.
