Notice: Email release notes updates being discontinued

Beginning in September 2017, the release notes for Google Container Engine have undergone a significant reformatting to improve completeness, accuracy, and readability. The format change included the installation of an XML feed for the release notes and occasional one-off updates in addition to the regular (weekly) release notes updates.

Effective immediately, the gke-release-notes Google group is no longer being updated to send out e-mail copies of the Google Container Engine release notes. Instead, you can receive release notes as they're posted by subscribing to the built-in XML feed of the release notes at their posted location at https://cloud.google.com/container-engine/release-notes.
